ONLINE: BDSM Negotiation: From Awkward to Awesome

Effective kink negotiation isn't always intuitive, especially when you're just starting out. But it can be learned, and we're going to do just that.

This Kink 101 session is designed to transform hesitant conversations into confident, connection-building dialogues. You'll walk away with practical tools to ask for exactly what you want, making your play hotter, safer, and incredibly fun.

We'll explore:

• Negotiation styles for your own style and voice
• Mastering pre-play agreements that set the stage for thrilling scenes
• How to negotiate without breaking the mood
• Nailing communication during and after the scene
• How to adapt scene negotiations within existing BDSM relationships

This workshop welcomes all genders, orientations, and dynamic styles.

Drawing on the psychology of peak experiences, we’ll learn how to collaborate as partners, using negotiation not as a chore, but as a powerful act of co-creation. Whether you're curious about kink, a relative newcomer, or a seasoned kinkster looking to sharpen your communication, you'll walk away with new perspectives and skills.

PRESENTER:

Miriam Green (they/them) has been active in the public kink scene for over twenty years and an instructor for more than twelve, focusing on communication skills, impact play, and advanced kink techniques. As the owner of kink education company Wicked Grounds, Mir collaborates with dozens of other educators to offer a wide range of classes for kinksters at every stage of their BDSM journey.

Over the past dozen years, Mir has taught several hundred BDSM classes through Wicked Grounds, Society of Janus, Foundations, Arizona Power Exchange, Dark Odyssey, Boundless Events, and other respected kink organizations and conferences. They particularly enjoy leading intensives, helping students deepen their kink skills over a day, weekend, or multiple weeks online. The regular ticket is $30. This is what most people should pay. We offer a sliding scale, so that cost is not a barrier to attendance. Choose the level you can comfortably afford.
