There are many reasons to seek out short-term dynamics, but getting what you're looking for can be tricky. This class is for anyone who wishes for that rush of power and satisfaction of giving and receiving service within a temporary timeframe.
Many people don't realize that the power exchange of service can absolutely be experienced outside of an ongoing D/s relationship. Short-term service can be ideal for many different situations: the veteran submissive who wants to brush up their skills; the novice Top who wants to explore; or meeting the needs of a service-oriented partner in a non-D/s relationship. There are lots of reasons why one would seek out short-term service dynamics, but for some reason it's not very common and getting what you're looking for can be tricky.
This class is for anyone (novice to veteran) who wants to experience that rush of power and satisfaction of giving and receiving service within a temporary timeframe. Some of the topics covered: identifying opportunities for short-term service; how to offer or invite an offer of service; figuring out what you do and don't want from the experience; and achieving a meeting of the minds before the service commences.
PRESENTER:
Sarah Beth is an educator and twenty-three-year veteran in the BDSM and Leather communities. She has served organizations such as CARAS (Community-Academic Consortium for Research on Alternative Sexualities), NLA-Dallas, NCSF, and her patch club, the Windy City Boys Troop.
Sarah Beth identifies as a bisexual female Leatherdyke and Leatherboy. She is a traditionalist with a fetish for power and protocols, but she strives to embrace the nickname bestowed upon her by her Leather Obi-Wan: Cheeky. When not recording oral histories or digging for evidence of long gone Leather/Levi clubs, chances are you'll find her cruising in unlikely places.
TICKETING:
Tickets: $15 - $35 in advance. Please pay at the level you can comfortably afford.
We offer a sliding scale, so that cost is not a barrier to attendance.
The regular ticket is $25. This is what most people should pay.
The $15 ticket is offered for those for whom the $25 ticket would be a barrier to participation. If $25 is too much, we take your word for it! Just pay $15.
Have a great salary? Feeling generous? Paying at the $35 level allows us to make the discounted ticketing available to others who need it.
So - that's it! Choose the level you can comfortably afford.
If cost is a barrier at any point on the sliding scale, please use the Volunteer List at the bottom of the listing to request a scholarship seat.
