ONLINE: Sir No Sir! Saying No In D/s Dynamics

Saying no, even in the easiest of circumstances, can be challenging for some of us, especially for those of us who have been socialized female, with rejection sensitivity dysphoria, or for any number of other reasons. Saying no or setting boundaries can become even more challenging in D/S dynamics, where we can want to please/dominate/submit//control our partners.

So how do we cultivate the skills to communicate what we need to communicate to honor both the relationship ship and ourselves? In this class, we will start by talking about saying no and setting boundaries broadly, and then move to how to apply these skills in DS relationships.

Both individuals and partner groups and D-types and S-types are welcome to attend.

PRESENTER:

Ev (they/them) is a white, Jewish, trans and non-binary person who works in anti-oppression education. Ev is deeply grateful that their kink-community journey has been almost exclusively in queer and trans spaces, starting in New York and New England more than nine years ago. kink helped teach Ev not only how to trust another person, but how to trust themself. As a trauma survivor, they believe in the possibility for kink to teach, transform, heal, and foster a damn good time. Ev lives in Denver with their two scruffy dogs.

We offer a sliding scale, so that cost is not a barrier to attendance.

The regular ticket is $25. This is what most people should pay.

The $15 ticket is offered for those for whom the $25 ticket would be a barrier to participation. If $25 is too much, we take your word for it! Just pay $15.
