SF: The Heart of Dominance Daylong Intensive

This class will be offered only at the Wicked Grounds Annex in San Francisco. No online tickets will be available.

This full-day interactive workshop gets to the heart of what it takes to be great at consensual dominance.

Facilitated by the author of The Heart of Dominance, and roughly following the key insights from that book, we will improve our understanding and acceptance of our dominant desires, learn to invite submission by creating secure containers for our partner’s submissive needs, and practice skills for building the kind of intimate connection that keeps power exchange strong and encourages it to grow deeper.

This intensive is an ideal starting point for anyone beginning to explore practicing dominance, and also appropriate for more experienced folks who want to work on their fundamentals. The skills and insights are applicable to exercising consensual, intimate authority in any context, from short scenes to long term relationships.

This intensive is highly participatory. Much of the agenda consists of participants sharing with one another, working together to generate ideas, and practicing connection skills. Come prepared to actively engage with the material, with the presenters and with your fellow participants—it isn’t the kind of event where you can sit silently in the back!

Consensual dominance is a practice, not a kind of person. Whether you identify as “a dominant” or as a switch or as anything else, if you’re interested in learning to competently wield authority over enthusiastic partners, the Heart of Dominance Daylong is for you. Participants of all genders and orientations are warmly welcome.

PRESENTER:

Anton is the author of acclaimed power exchange guidebooks The Heart of Dominance and The Dominance Playbook. He has been teaching on topics related to power exchange since 2004, and his workshops emphasize participatory learning and focus on the relational skills and self-understanding that make up the core of successful dominance and submission.

To participate in The Heart of Dominance Daylong, you must purchase your ticket in advance. No tickets will be sold at the door.

Space is limited to forty participants.

$80 - $120 in advance. Please pay at the level you can comfortably afford.

We offer a sliding scale, so that cost is not a barrier to attendance.

The regular ticket is $100. This is what most people should pay.

The $80 ticket is offered for those for whom the $100 ticket would be a barrier to participation. If $100 is too much, we take your word for it! Just pay $80.

ACCESS:

In SF, this class will be held in the Wicked Grounds Annex. Please note that stairs at the front door are the only means of ingress and egress to the space. We recommend arriving 10 minutes before the class start time for check in.

All participants must show proof of Covid vaccination and at least one booster. Rapid tests will be provided and must be taken before the event begins. Anyone testing positive, or feeling at all ill before the event, will receive a full refund. Masks will not be required.
