SF: Negotiation Improv
Negotiation Improv is designed to help you workshop and refine how you approach negotiation. No actual play is being negotiated, and this is an opportunity to practice core negotiation skills in a safe and low-pressure environment.
Stop thinking of negotiation as just another part of your pre-scene checklist; instead, practice it as an active skill to develop, just like any other aspect of play! Negotiation Improv is designed to help you workshop and refine how you approach negotiation. No actual play is being negotiated, and this is an opportunity to practice core negotiation skills in a safe and low-pressure environment.
Rather than negotiating for yourself, participants will be given “character cards” prompting you with a list of kinks, likes and dislikes, and limits to negotiate in a “speed-dating” format. Receive tips and feedback on how to develop a confident, thorough, and FUN negotiation style that will help you engage in safe and communicative play!
This class is perfect if you're new to kink and looking to put into practice some of the skills you’ve learned about, even those with more experience looking for a chance to experiment with negotiation style are welcome.

PRESENTER:
Wiley Elote (he/him) is a sadistic switch who loves to see new kinksters thrive. An active member of the SF Kink Community since 2018, Wiley practices a consent-forward approach toward helping newcomers find a comfortable place for themselves. He has taught classes with BOBA Munch and has been a host of Kinky Speed Dating with AfterDark Events and Bloom.

In SF, this class will be held at Trellis. Doors will open at 2pm. Please note that doors will close quickly so we recommend arriving 15 minutes before the class start time for check-in.
