SF: Getting Started with Rope Intensive

Have you seen people pulling out rope for a bondage scene, and it looks fun but overwhelming? Whether you're new to rope or need a refresher, this class is perfect for you.

We will talk about how to choose the best rope for particular bondage styles, including samples of rope types to feel and explore the different advantages they offer.

We will work on some fundamental ties that can get you started, like single and double column ties. And most importantly, the good places on the body to put rope. Once we have the basics down we will cover classic ties including the ladder tie, box tie, and Futomomo.

Please come prepared to practice! You are welcome to come alone or with a partner. If you come solo, be prepared to practice with a fellow attendee. We will have some loaner rope available, but please bring your own rope and safety shears if you have them.

PRESENTER:

Ryan PsychoKitty is a performance artist and improv actor, starting at the Annoyance Theater of Improv of Chicago in the late 90s and has performed in New York, San Francisco, London, Kobe, and Osaka, with performance images in Skin Two. He has presented classes at the SF Citadel, Shibaricon, TNG4, Boundless, and others.

He is the host of the new Dirty Talk Game Show here in San Francisco, a former host of Shibaricon in Chicago, is one of the founders of Wicked Grounds Kink Café and Boutique.

This class will be taught out of Folsom Street Community Center at 1286 Folsom Street, SF.
