SF: Welcome to the SF Bay Area Scene

This class is perfect whether you're new to kink, new to the public scene, or want to learn more about local BDSM play and education. Join us for this quick orientation to the local kink scene. You'll learn:

• The basics of norms, etiquette, and culture of public kink scenes
• The wide variety of events to engage with, ranging from PG-13 munches to XXX play parties!
• The most active organizations, venues, groups, and events in the SF Bay Area, and how to connect with them
• How to connect with the specific types of events and groups that are of most interest to you -- it's never the same class twice!
• What to expect at a play party, and several reasons to go to parties you might not yet have considered!

PRESENTER:

Miriam Green has been in the public kink scene for 20 years in the Austin, Houston, and San Francisco scenes. They teach a series of KINK 101 classes on the SF kink community, BDSM negotiations, and dating while kinky. They are also the owner of Wicked Grounds.

TICKETING:

Tickets: $20 - $50 in advance, or $30 - $60 at the door. Please pay at the level you can comfortably afford.

The regular ticket is $30. This is what most people should pay. We offer a sliding scale, so that cost is not a barrier to attendance.

If cost is a barrier at any point on the sliding scale, please use the Volunteer List at the bottom of the listing to request a scholarship seat.

ACCESS

In SF, this class will be held at the Folsom Street Community Center, at 1286 Folsom Street, San Francisco, CA 94103, near 9th and Folsom.

Please do not attend in person if you have any respiratory symptoms whatsoever. Anyone displaying signs of respiratory symptoms may be asked to leave, regardless of vaccination status.
