Wicked Grounds Presents: FlogLab: Dancing with Falls - A Hands-On Flogging Workshop

We all bring different energy to topping. Different skills and power that allow our falls to land on flesh in varying ways. Join Reika for a hands-on workshop where she will provide an array of floggers for participants to practice with. She’ll foster a safe environment to practice the art of flogging, review basic flogger knowledge, common throws and share personal tips/tricks that have helped her in her journey developing confidence in dancing with falls.

If you have your own floggers you wish to practice with, you are encouraged to bring them along! It would be helpful to bring your own pillow, stuffy or a partner to practice with! This will be a monthly hands-on workshop, everyone will get the opportunity to practice if you desire to!

PRESENTER:

Reika Minxie (She/Her/Hers), Ms SF Leather 2019, is an Okinawan/American queer, polyamorous, femme, sadistically feral kitty who always has her claws sharpened and ready for willing prey. She has been wandering the San Francisco Bay Area kink scene since 2012, eagerly fostering community and learning from those around her. She has taught an array of classes and workshops ranging in topics from power dynamics, different types/styles of play, and negotiation/safety.

Event Rules & Guidelines

• Ask for affirmative consent before any touching, play, or escalation.
• You are encouraged - but not required - to bring your own toys.
• Focus on socializing and skill sharing, not isolated scenes. Encourage others to ask questions or watch!
• There are limited mats and play furniture at our current space. Be prepared to wait or get creative with your playspace.
• Photography is not allowed and phones must be put away throughout the event.
• Late entry after our consent agreements will NOT be permitted. Consent will be reviewed at 7:15pm, after which the doors will be closed for entry.

TICKETING

Tickets: $20 - $50 in advance, or $30 - $50 at the door. Please pay at the level you can comfortably afford.

We offer a sliding scale, so that cost is not a barrier to attendance.

The regular ticket is $30. This is what most people should pay.

The $20 ticket is offered for those for whom the $30 ticket would be a barrier to participation. If $30 is too much, we take your word for it! Just pay $20.

Have a great salary? Feeling generous? Paying at the higher level allows us to make discounted ticketing available to others who need it.

So - that's it! Choose the level you can comfortably afford. No one turned away for lack of funds. If cost is a barrier at any point on the sliding scale, please use the Volunteer List at the bottom of the listing to request a scholarship seat.

ACCESS

In SF, this class will be held at Stopgap near 9th and Mission. Exact location information will be revealed upon ticket purchase.

Please do not attend in person if you have any respiratory symptoms whatsoever. Anyone displaying signs of respiratory symptoms may be asked to leave, regardless of vaccination status.
