ONLINE: Interfaith D/s
We’ll think about how interfaith relations show up in our D/s relationships and dynamics, including how to be allies to those of other faiths. Last, we’ll explore moments when we can all show up in the fullness of our faith (or lack thereof.)
D/s relationships or dynamics are inherently based on difference. Though we intentionally seek out differences in power and role, how do we navigate differences in religion and spirituality? In Interfaith D/s, we’ll first look at principles of interfaith work. Next we’ll think about how this work shows up in our D/s relationships and dynamics, including how to be allies to those of other faiths. Last, we’ll explore “cross over” moments when we can all show up in the fullness of our faith (or lack thereof.)
Both individuals and partner groups and D-types and S-types are welcome to attend.
PRESENTER:
BearJew aka Ev Evnen (they/them) is a white, Jewish, trans and non-binary person who works in anti-oppression education. Ev is deeply grateful that their kink-community journey has been almost exclusively in queer and trans spaces, starting in New York and New England more than nine years ago. kink helped teach Ev not only how to trust another person, but how to trust themself. As a trauma survivor, they believe in the possibility for kink to teach, transform, heal, and foster a damn good time. Ev lives in Denver with their two scruffy dogs.

We offer a sliding scale, so that cost is not a barrier to attendance.
The regular ticket is $30. This is what most people should pay.
The $20 ticket is offered for those for whom the $30 ticket would be a barrier to participation. Have a great salary? Feeling generous? Paying at the $40 level allows us to make the discounted ticketing available to others who need it.
