Whether by design or coincidence, the Tarot bears a number of similarities to Kabbalistic concepts. The twenty-two trump cards can be mapped to the Hebrew letters, the ten numbers to the Kabbalistic sephirot, the four suits to the four kabbalistic worlds and the four court cards to the Tetragrammaton.
This half-day intensive is designed to help those familiar with the Tarot deepen their insights through an understanding of basic kabbalistic techniques, while teaching those familiar with the Kabbalah to employ the Tarot as a tool for both divination and deep, personal Work. We will meet for about four hours of class time, with two fifteen minute breaks. Please feel free to bring a bag lunch or snack!!!
This class is open to all levels of experience, from beginner to advanced.
Please bring a notebook, and a tarot deck if you have one. (A few loaner decks will be available.)
