From being awareness of spacing and distance to setting up a play space and write advertisements for events, all kinksters can use trauma-informed mindfulness to create safer spaces.
This introductory class discusses being a trauma-aware kinkster. From being awareness of spacing and distance to setting up a play space and write advertisements for events, all kinksters can use trauma-informed mindfulness to create safer spaces.
You will learn what trauma is (and what it isn't), how it happens, about trauma dumping, trauma reactions, post-traumatic growth, secondary trauma, intergenerational/racial trauma, trauma from violence, trauma experienced by BIPOC/LGBTQIA+/minority individuals, and more.
Note: This class is for education purposes only. This is not a therapy session, support group, place to discuss details of traumatic events, debate the validity of trauma, etc.
