ONLINE: Queer? Leather? A Discussion

This will be a live, online class offered through Zoom. No on-site tickets will be available.

Are you a queer and/or trans person who’s curious about Leather and what it’s all about? Is Leather just for show, or is there more beneath the surface of the hide? What if you’re vegan and you dig the appeal — can that even be rectified? Whether you’re curious or deeply interested to get into Leather, this class is for you! Join Devyn Stone and his property, Guan-Xuan, for a dialogue about Leather for queer and trans folks. Topics explored and discussed include working definitions of Leather, Leather’s current connections with the queer and trans communities, and how Leather manifests in everyday life. Participants are encouraged to partake in an open dialogue about the ins and outs of Leather in the queer and trans community. Questions and curiosity about Leather are heartily welcomed here!

PRESENTER:

Devyn Stone is a self-awareness and BDSM educator, author, and alternative lifestyles coach. He dreams of globetrotting and helping folx achieve the connections they desire, while they learn themselves more deeply.

He believes in diversity not division and actualizes that idea by promoting strongly affirming spaces and interactions. Devyn has a passion for giving and receiving education - his favorite topics are psychology, negotiation, consent, relationship construction, and organization.

He is the Founder of Pragmatically Kinking, where members discuss the practical aspects of BDSM and THRIVE, a virtual conference dedicated to the intersection of mental health and BDSM.

Devyn has been actively practicing authority transfer dynamics since 2004. Today he lives in Dallas, TX with his property Guan Xuan, which is unquestionably devoted to his will and serves as his useful object. Devyn is an extrovert, a Sons of Anarchy fan, and a foodie.

$15 - $35 in advance. Please pay at the level you can comfortably afford.

We offer a sliding scale, so that cost is not a barrier to attendance.

The regular ticket is $25. This is what most people should pay.

The $15 ticket is offered for those for whom the $25 ticket would be a barrier to participation. If $25 is too much, we take your word for it! Just pay $15.

Have a great salary? Feeling generous? Paying at the $35 level allows us to make the discounted ticketing available to others who need it.
