This class discusses the reasons we engage in boot worship, why we call it that, suggested etiquette, and how both parties contribute to the dance in this visceral expression of dominance and submission.
Boots are quite possibly the most recognized and complex symbols in Leather subculture. While boot worship is very much an interior experience, it manifests in external, physical actions. This class discusses the reasons we engage in boot worship, why we call it that, suggested etiquette, and how both parties contribute to the dance in this visceral expression of dominance and submission. We’ll also explore the different ways boot worship impacts participants’ headspaces. Participants are encouraged to wear boots which have meaning or make them feel sexy.
Sarah Beth is an educator and twenty-three-year veteran in the BDSM and Leather communities. She has served organizations such as CARAS (Community-Academic Consortium for Research on Alternative Sexualities), NLA-Dallas, NCSF, and her patch club, the Windy City Boys Troop.
Sarah Beth identifies as a bisexual female Leatherdyke and Leatherboy. She is a traditionalist with a fetish for power and protocols, but she strives to embrace the nickname bestowed upon her by her Leather Obi-Wan: Cheeky. When not recording oral histories or digging for evidence of long gone Leather/Levi clubs, chances are you'll find her cruising in unlikely places.
Tickets: $15 - $35 in advance. Please pay at the level you can comfortably afford.
We offer a sliding scale, so that cost is not a barrier to attendance.
The regular ticket is $25. This is what most people should pay.
The $15 ticket is offered for those for whom the $25 ticket would be a barrier to participation. If $25 is too much, we take your word for it! Just pay $15.
Have a great salary? Feeling generous? Paying at the $35 level allows us to make the discounted ticketing available to others who need it.
So - that's it! Choose the level you can comfortably afford.
If cost is a barrier at any point on the sliding scale, please use the Volunteer List at the bottom of the listing to request a scholarship seat.
