ONLINE: Foundations: That's Why We Call It Play!

Note: This class is open only to students of Foundations, who have either attended in-person classes or a Foundations remote orientation.

This is a community discussion/info class about how to find joy and play in a mid? post? covid kink community.

Students will need something to write on/with. Just a few pieces of paper and a sharpie, so we can flip answers at the same time and hold up to the camera.

PRESENTER:

Scylla Fisher started her journey in the dungeons of Little Rock, AR and at the Memphis, TN Impact Institute back in the late 90's. She quickly found that she was a Femme Leather slave with a deep love for service and protocols, and a passion for play; especially whips, blood, and predicament bondage. After moving to Idaho in 2002, she helped the community there grow and was the Co-Producer, and Art Director, of the Alt Lifestyles Expo (ALX) for three years and the reigning President of the Boise BDSM Society, until the organization was retired in late 2009; after which, she helped to establish the Boise TNG and other BDSM educational classes. Since then, she has been honored to have presented, co-presented, or demo Topped/bottomed at various conferences and organizations around the country, including SouthPlains Leatherfest in Dallas, TX; Thunder in the Mountains in Denver, CO; Rocky Mountain Olympus Leather SL,UT; BDSM Foundations in San Francisco, CA; DomCon in Atlanta, GA and Las Angeles,CA; South West Leatherfest in Phoenix, AZ; and The Hive in Boise, ID. She is a graduate of the Butchmann's Pansexual Weekend Experience 2011 and LeatherQuest Salt Lake City class 2013 and had the opportunity to assist, and work alongside, the amazing people in the San Francisco Leather community as Program Director of Foundations, until she stepped down in February 2015. Lastly, she served as Junior HeadMaster for Journey 2.0 in fabulous LV, NV! She is so grateful for her Leather ancestors and for the Leather communities that she has the honor to be a part of and serve.

The online safety and privacy of our community is of the utmost importance to us. Because of this, we will require you to agree to a few items on admittance to class. These include that you are 18 or over and are a student of Foundations.

Also, we will require all participants to be on video, no audio only option.

Though Foundations will do everything in our power to protect your privacy, we cannot absolutely guarantee online security.

TICKETS:

This class is donation based, similar to our in-person classes. No one turned away for lack of funds. But please give what you can, and if you are able, we suggest a $20 donation. Select an amount when registering for a ticket. 100% of the donations will go to Wicked Grounds, to support them sticking around for the kink community.

Instructions for joining:

-Please give a donation while registering if you are able.
-You will be sent a confirmation email from Forbidden Tickets before the event with the login instruction to access the class on Zoom.
-Join class promptly at 6:30pm. You will be admitted to a Zoom waiting room, please wait patiently. One at a time door check is from 6:30pm-7:00pm. Doors will close at 7:00pm promptly, no late admittance.

Expectations during the class:

-Class Protocols will be followed (some protocols have been modified for online class).
-Keep yourself muted when not talking.

• We must be able to see your face (video) at all times. There will be a break during class.
  -Only the students who register may attend the class. Please move out of visual/auditory range of co-dwellers.
  -During class, please refrain from using the Zoom chat feature unless instructed by a Foundations Admin team member.
  -DO NOT record or take screenshots during the online class.
