An evening of extravagant Folsom celebration, combining scintillatingly sensual shows with interactive marvels.
An extravagant Folsom Gala featuring exquisitely erotic, sensually subversive, and particularly perilous queer performance art, including aerial acrobatics, suspension bondage, pole dance, and fetish acts, as well as interactive and display art.
The Folsom Street Fair is celebrating 40 years of debauchery – in Roman Numerals, this is the XL Anniversary!
Our Saturday event focuses on our signature immersive experience surrounding you with unique, exceptional performance art; there are interactive performances, but no playspace. Friday's Foreplay event has fewer performances and a playspace!
Location: SOMArts, 934 Brannan St in San Francisco
Schedule: Doors open and performances begin at 7:30 pm. The event runs until 1 am. Please plan to arrive no later than 10 pm.
Attire: Twisted Windows is an artistic fetish environment, and attendees are part of that environment. Wear what makes you feel amazing and seize this opportunity for your finery to be fully appreciated! Fetish or formal attire, leather/lace/latex, and lingerie are all appreciated. Nipples and bits must be covered. No effort = no entry.
Entry requirements: This event is 18+; ID and proof of vaccination (including at least one booster) are required. All attendees must abide by our code of conduct and sign our release form. Twisted Windows is an event for consenting adults in which activities involving rope, sensuality, sadomasochism, and other erotic interests and practices take place. We invite you to curate your experience by moving throughout the venue.
This space is wheelchair accessible. Venue details can be found here. ASL interpreters are available upon request – please email email@example.com by two weeks before the event to request an interpreter.
Only VIP tickets come with a reserved seat. Accessibility seating is available. The only difference between Tiers 1, 2, and 3 tickets is the price (a limited number of Tier 1 and Tier 2 tickets are available). Please contact the producers for accessibility questions and accommodations.
COVID Guidelines: Please see this page for SOMArts-specific COVID information. SOMArts has high-volume air outtake fans along one length of our building with corresponding intake venting along the opposite length, ensuring a constant displacement of interior air with fresh outdoor air. Twisted Windows COVID guidelines can be found here.
Photography: To quote the Ropecraft photo policy: "It should be understood that given the current availability of photographic technology, there is no way for any event or individual to guarantee that your photo will not be taken at any kink event. Please evaluate your own risk accordingly." We do not allow attendees to take photos or videos of performers or of other attendees (without consent). We have professional photographers and allow performers to record their own performances. At times we will blur background/non-focus figures such that there are no identifiable features. There are also clearly marked selfie areas.
Refund policy: Up to 5 days before the event, tickets are refundable – attendees may refund themselves using the link in the confirmation email. Within five days of the event, there is a set number of refunds we have budgeted to provide for folks who cannot attend. Given the complexities and financial risk of event production, capacity limits, extremely tight budgets (with event proceeds entirely going to pay space rent and pay performers), and the logistical impossibility of re-selling tickets at the 11th hour, when/if we reach our pre-set refund cap, from that point on tickets will be transferable but not refundable. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for any questions or concerns.
As always, proceeds go to compensate performers/staff and to support the arts venue, in this case, the SOMArts Cultural Center.
