Wellness @ Transform1060
A health and wellness fair for queer, kinky people.
We often talk about self-care in the queer, kinky community but just as vital is finding others who have the skills and knowledge to care for you. Transform1060 is hosting our first Wellness fair with the goal of connecting queer, kinky people with practitioners who are part of our community and understand our needs.
We have assembled professionals across practices including chiropractic care, acupuncture, energy work, ritual healing, therapeutic fitness, and multiple approaches to massage.
The day will begin with an hour to meet the practitioners and mingle with other attendees. There will then be three consecutive sessions (with breaks) which allow you to visit a different practice. Each professional is different! Some may be offering hands-on demonstrations while others may choose an open discussion. You are welcome to attend all or just a couple of the sessions. Arrive and leave according to your needs.
Trasform1060 considers this a critical part of caring for our community, so tickets are sliding scale. Pay as much as you are able or nothing at all. You will also find that we have tickets available which will earmark your fee to go towards helping those from underrepresented demographics attend or host events at the space.
