Whether for lack of partners, building knowledge, or exploring your own curiosity, self tying is for anybody that finds themselves wanting to try it out. In this class, we'll cover rope and safety basics, establishing your (desired) connection with rope, and a couple ties to get you started on your journey of self exploration.
No experience is required at all. If you would like to participate in the class, then you would need to bring two hanks of rope that are at least 15 ft. in length. There will also be rope available for purchase in the store. Comfy, form fitting clothes recommended. Participation is not mandatory.
$15 per person
katblk (he/him) has actively engaged in the BDSM/kink lifestyle for the last decade and the rope community for half of that. The lack of black representation and opportunities in rope is what initially led kat to self tying and has been the focus since. A goal he continuously strives for is to connect with lgbtqia+ communities of color in their ropes journey.
This is an in-person class, held at the Tool Shed's Milwaukee, WI location.
