Innocent, of Apache and Deni Nations, held the regional title of Northwest Bootblack 2023 and was First Runner Up to our International Ms Bootblack 2024, Spankcake. Utilized as a tool to overcome her social anxieties, she started bootblacking in 1999. Little did she know this humble craft would be the key.
Honoring her true nature, she embraces compassion in the caring of an Elder within our Leather Community.
Innocent’s journey serves as a powerful reminder that we do have the capacity to overcome our inner struggles and find solace and purpose in unexpected places.
