Sold Out!

Diving into your Shibari journey.

Description

This is a partial suspension class ✨

Come learn the classic Shibari harness: Takate Kote (Box Tie) with us, and explore this vulnerable yet powerful hands-behind-the-back position... and the fun things we could do with it!

Before taking this class, you must know the risk & safety in TK, how to tie a version of suspendable TK, and basic rope handling skills.

In this class, we will cover:

  • A Chest-loading Variation of TK
  • Predicament Partial w/ Backbend

... And all the little tricks that you might find useful when tying/being tied in a TK!

This is the 4th class of a series of 4 classes on Box Tie Woohooo!

Please message @Nocturnal_Events or email hello@madebymooooo.com before signing up for the class if the rope bottom has any recent shoulder injuries, back injuries or nerve injuries.

  • 5-8 x 30ft rope
  • 1-2 short ropes
  • You & your tying partner's aftercare needs.

Common Q&A

  1. Do I need to bring my own rope?

Yes. If you don't have your own set of rope yet, this class is probably not for you.

  1. Do I need a rope bottom?

Yes. You will need a rope bottom to practice with. If you are a switch, pair up with your switch-y friends! You learn the most if you could experience both sides!

  1. What should I wear?

For Riggers: Anything you feel the most comfortable in. You will feel warmer than your bottom, so don't put too many layers on!

For bottoms: Tighter clothes are the best. For example tank tops and yoga pants. If you wear bras, please remember to take them off or wear wireless bras for upper body ties.

  1. Will I be able to learn to suspend someone?

No. This class is a partial suspension class where most of the bottom's body weight will be on the ground.
