Basic understanding of consent and barriers to consent. The basics you need to navigate the scene and to attend your first few events.
This is an introductory class introducing the fundamentals of both the Kink Lifestyle and the Swinging Lifestyle. This class is geared towards those who are new to either lifestyle or seeking a better understanding of the basic concepts within the Kink and/or Swinging Lifestyle. Although similar, they each have their own set of rules and etiquette. This two-part class will address each lifestyle individually. Learn the basic concepts of consent and common barriers to consent. Learn some basic terminology, best intention practices, and tips on communicating with your current or potential partners. Handouts, pamphlets, and resources will be provided.
There will be a question and answer time to ask anything you want to know about either lifestyle. You will also have time to get to know other people who are new to the community and make connections.
Dinner will be provided during class and is included in the price of your ticket. Our menu includes tacos and nachos with all the fixin's. Come hungry for dinner and knowledge!
