SoCal Creatures Human Pet Adoption Day!

The Adoption Day event is focused on being a safer space for those who are new to pet play and our community. Sexual play of any kind is not allowed.

Seeking a pet or Handler, but not sure how to find your match? Need help negotiating a scene? New to pet play and not sure how to get started? Come on out to our ADOPTION DAY, an 18+ event by SoCal Creatures designed with pet player pick-up play and assisted negotiation in mind.

This is a queer-centric, women/NB-run space, but all are welcome!

WHAT TO DO:

• Come for Orientation when the event starts to get acquainted with this month's unique layout!
• Play in our massive Forest Room, special semi-private "play kennels," and kink play zones;
• Shop from our Vendors: Solid Citizen by Z (leather gear, patches, and more), Jackel's Bite (leather squeaky toys and accessories), Shayn Cookie Drive (themed cookies to support her International Trainer title run!)
• Or engage with what makes this event truly special - our ADOPTION ZONE, inspired by real bio-pet adoptions, where you can put yourself up for pickup play "adoption" or find your newest playmate.

ADOPTION PROCESS STEPS:

1. Fill out your info form.
2. Look through the forms to find someone you're interested in playing with.
3. Tell one of the Adoption Booth volunteers - they'll find that person, ask if they're interested, and help you both through a negotiation if it's a yes.
4. Play!
5. Come back to the booth and do it again with someone else!

All adoptions MUST occur through the guidance of an Adoption Zone volunteer. Our volunteers reserve the right to deny an adoption scene if they feel it is unsafe for any reason.

If you're confused or need help finding someone who might share your interests, our Adoption Booth volunteers are here to help. Just ask them!

And YES, pets can "adopt" other pets for playtime, or ask to play with a Handler! Just like Handlers can ask to "adopt" a pet!

To be super-cutely listed on our website before the event, check your confirmation email for instructions! The deadline for online submissions is 2/11!

Don't worry, you're welcome to just romp with your current pet play friends and partners - you are not required to engage in the pick-up play side of the event. Although we do encourage you to try it! ;)

COVID-19 POLICIES

2024 November Covid vaccine OR a negative covid test (home test is fine) is required. We do NOT have tests on site anymore due to lack of supply.

Surgical, KN95, or N95 Masks must be worn while indoors, even under pet hoods.

Please stay home if you’re feeling unwell! If you arrive sick, you will be asked to leave.

PARKING

There are several parking options near our venue:

1. Garages:

Santa Monica & Kings Road:
8383 Santa Monica Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90069
Cost: $10 max

Former 24 Hour Fitness:
8582 Santa Monica Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90069
Cost: $15 flat rate

2. Street Parking: Available on residential side streets. If you choose this option, please READ ALL SIGNAGE carefully to avoid any penalties.

We can arrange a Volunteer Pick-up from one of the parking options above for those in need. Please contact us if this is a service you would benefit from.

ACCESSIBILITY

• We are only using the ground floor of the venue, making it wheelchair accessible.
• Our special semi-private "play kennels," which will be constructed from temporary dividers, will be a wheelchair-accessible width.
• There is one downstairs accessible bathroom. There is an additional bathroom upstairs that we encourage able-bodied folks to use, to keep the downstairs bathroom more available for those who need it.
• We have disposable ear plugs available for those with auditory sensitivities.
• Music is played at a low-medium volume in the main room. No music is in the back patio, or in the chill (low stimulus) room.
• Please contact us directly if you need an ASL interpreter. We can provide one.
• Our Consent Wristbands are both colored and marked with symbols for our colorblind community members.
