The box tie, also known as the takate kote, TK, or gote, is a versatile and aesthetically pleasing tool to add to your belt.

Description

The box tie, also known as the takate kote, TK, or gote, is a versatile and aesthetically pleasing tool to add to your belt.

This intermediate tie has the model with their arms behind their back or by their hips, with their elbows as close to the body as possible. This can evoke a particular headspace or feelings of submission, vulnerability, and strength. The low hands version seeks to place people with little mobility in the shoulders into a harness using box tie principles.

Join us as we break down each component of the low hands box tie, including important anatomy, third rope options, and how to load it in suspension. Please know this class will stay on the ground and we will be on a shoe free floor. Gym mats will be provided.

This class is for tying couples and individual auditors, each ticket is for TWO people!

In order to prepare for this class, tops please be comfortable tying a non collapsing single column tie and handling your rope. Bottoms, please be able to place your hands behind your back or by your hips.

Masks are recommended, vaccine card required.
