Join us for a collaborative discussion and presentation on arguably the most important communication skills to have in the lifestyle. If you are brand new or a seasoned veteran- join us to share and learn.
What is vetting?
Vetting is a term used in the lifestyle to describe the process of getting to know someone, typically for the purposes of having a scene, relationship, or power exchange dynamic. These are useful skills for everyone- the vanilla people could also benefit from learning these vital skills.
In this class we will discuss the right questions to ask, what not to ask, tips and tricks as well as how to identify red and green flags in your potential person.
Being comfortable and confident in your ability to vett someone thoroughly can make all the difference in safety and compatibility.
What are negotiations?
Negotiations are the practice of discussing what you want and do not want during a BDSM scene, relationship, or power exchange dynamic. This can seem pretty simple, but the deeper you dive into what needs to be negotiated- the more you learn about yourself and your potential person.
