You should bring rope, your suspension gears, pack for you & your bottom's aftercare needs.
The house will also provide yoga mat to tie on, snack and water.
We will have loaner ropes for you to use. However, it is strongly recommended to bring your own rope.
No. You could practice most of the exercises on yourself. However, I do believe Shibari is a connective activity and you will get the most out of this class if you could practice with a partner. (We might also pair people up for some of the exercise.)
For Riggers: Anything you feel the most comfortable in. You will feel
warmer than your bottom, so don't put too many layers on!
For bottoms: Tighter clothes are the best. For example: tank tops and yoga pants. If you wear bras, please remember to take them off or wear wireless bras for upper body ties.
Partially. You may partially suspend yourself/your partner if you both consented and feel comfortable with that. But the class will focus on a ground work.
Shibari Essentials is a series of in-person classes. We will be focusing on different Shibari patterns as well as applicable techniques for you to create amazing experiences with your partners.
For each class, we will be focusing on one tie and the variations.
You may pick and mix your classes and only attend to those you are interested in.
