Recess is the newest Sunday afternoon kink party thrown for and by the San Francisco Kink Community! We're organizing another sampler party at Transform1060 where you can try out different kinds of play! This time around we will have two whole hours of samplers after which the entire dungeon will be available for open play!

Enjoy our sampler tops and bottoms while custom soundtracks help set the mood. We'll have fun ice-breakers available to help you make new connections. Bring your creativity, your energy, and your awesome self. We all bring our own unique energy to the community and help make it the vibrant and fun place it is!

Recess is an inclusive event. We welcome kinky adults of all gender identities, sexual orientations, races, ethnicities, roles, and experience levels. This is a body-positive event. We expect all attendees to honor the diversity of our community. Singles, couples and relationship configurations of all kinds are all welcome and encouraged to join in the revelry.

Venue

Recess will be held at Transform1060, a community dungeon with distinct dungeon and social areas. We will be using both the Folsoma and Russ buildings as well as the courtyard.

Hosts

Your hosts for the afternoon will be Diablo and Frey. They'll be supported by volunteers from the community. We'll all be working for a community event for Transform1060. All revenue after expenses from this event will go to support the space.

Covid Safety

This is a vaccinated and boosted event with three steps to help prevent COVID-19 transmission. COVID testing for the event is done by AfterDark-Events. First you must be fully vaccinated and two weeks past your booster date. We will be verifying all attendees are compliant with this requirement before permitting entry.

Next you'll need to take a rapid antigen test. After confirming that you test negative, you can sign in and proceed into the party.

Lastly, while inside the building masks must be kept on at all times unless something is actively entering your mouth such as food, drink or a body part. This rule applies even while playing and DMs will be authorized to interrupt scenes if necessary to enforce this rule

Entry

Prepaid tickets are available on a sliding scale and highly recommended to save your spot. Door Tickets will only be available if the event doesn't sell out online. Most people should pay $50; if $50 presents a financial barrier, pay $35; if you have a good salary and can afford to help subsidize others in your community, please consider paying more than $50.

Dress Code:

Fetishwear, kinky/sexy costumes, dungeon blacks, lingerie etc. No street clothes. If in doubt, dress like you would for a good nightclub.

Consent Guidelines

Part of our responsibility in fostering a consent culture is to provide some guidance to help prevent consent incidents from happening at our events.

• Informed and voluntary consent is always required before play. The entire scope of any scene, including what parts of the body there may be contact with and the nature of such contact, should be negotiated prior to beginning any actual play.
• People at our events come from different backgrounds and have vastly different life experiences. All attendees may expect to be treated by event staff and other attendees with respect irrespective of age, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, body type, disability, etc.
• People can expect that their persons and property shall not be touched without prior permission.
• Attendees should not be addressed as “Mistress”, “Sir”, “slut”, “slave”, etc. or any potentially offensive terms or violating words unless they have given prior permission.
• Each participant in a scene is responsible for making sure that everyone involved in the scene has the mental and emotional ability to give informed and voluntary consent for the scene. We consider people who are under the influence of substances, in subspace or otherwise not in a clear state of mind to be incapable of giving informed and voluntary consent.
• While playing, players may not do anything that was not already explicitly agreed to.
• Any participant in a scene has the right to withdraw consent at any time by means of an agreed-upon safeword, a non-verbal safe-sign or using the house safeword “SAFEWORD”. Once consent is withdrawn, all activity in the scene must stop.
