First Bight is a group focused on education and helping to equip people with better tools to mitigate their risks and make their own choices in the realm of rope bondage. We strive to create a space for people new to rope to come and learn the basic skills that are common throughout many types of rope bondage. We hope to be a resource for people who want to explore the world of rope and are looking for information on mitigating risks, making connections, and having some good old fashioned kinky fun. We are open to everyone regardless of experience level, identity, race, gender, sexual orientation, and all other marginalized people.
Occasionally, we are fortunate enough to have people pass through town who are willing to share their experience, knowledge, and skills with us. In doing so, we hope to leverage our ability to host these events so that others may have access. As a part of our core values, we reserve space at our events for those who would not have had the opportunities to access this type of education free of charge.
