CLASS DESCRIPTION
Want to take photos that actually capture how hot things really are? This class is for anyone craving steamy, stunning shots of themselves, their partners, and their kinks—using nothing but their phone.
Your cutie’s a total knockout, but somehow your camera’s turning up the heat… and turning down the clarity? That sexy little hideaway of yours suddenly looks like a laundry pile in disguise?
Forget pricey cameras or professional crews—you don’t need them. All you need is your phone, your vision, and a few tricks to bring out the magic.
Learn how to seduce the lens with clever lighting, luscious angles, and thoughtful composition. Whether it’s a flirty solo shoot, a couple’s boudoir moment, or something a little kinkier, we’ll show you how to make every frame smolder.
Taught by industry experts who are also part of our local, loving community. Come learn, play, and turn your fantasies into frame-worthy reality.
This two hour, in-person class and workshop will cover:
- Common smartphone features and uses
- Photo composition
- How to best position and use household lights
- Why position of lights matters
- Hands-on practice of combining these
PRESENTERS
Professional and published photographers, Sir Dyllan and UsedByDisney, accompanied by Professional Lighting Specialist Ghostlite, will be leading a hands-on workshop intended to instruct and demonstrate on how to better utilize the features on your cellphone with the lighting available in our homes to take visually pleasing photographs.
Sir Dyllan (he/him) is a Queer, Polyamorous Leatherman and Human Rights Activist with physical disabilities, anxiety and a TBI. Studying photography from a young age, through an apprenticeship, self discipline, and further in college. He was first published for lighting in 2000, as a photographer in 2006, and in multiple publications since. Professionally photographing since 2009, he specializes in portraiture, glamour and boudoir. You will often find him volunteering behind the lens at events as a way to give back to the community and shining light on the happenings of the world. When he is not volunteering his photography skills, he is often trying to help the community and holding space for those who want/need, or being involved in educational discussions on the topics of Power/Authority Exchange and Polyamory.
UsedByDisney (she/her) has been in the "scene" since 2014 both publicly and privately. Since then she has been growing as a submissive, learning her boundaries and finding her confidence. In doing so, she participated in some boudoir shoots of her own and promptly fell in love with the process. She began professionally taking photos in 2018. Starting with simple shots, such as landscapes, animals and photos of friends. As she grew in her profession, she discovered a love for boudoir and erotic photography. She finds the time she spends behind the camera and with the client extremely rewarding, as she has been able to help clients find their self-confidence, self-love, erotic and kinky selves, romance and inner god/goddess once more. When she is not taking erotic photos of people, she is taking family, engagement and lifestyle photos around the Bay Area or hanging out with her wonderful partner.
Ghostlite (she/her) is a cheery sadist, infamous pirate queen, and kinky bon vivant. In her secret identity she plays the role of a professional theatrical technician and stage lighting specialist. She’s been storytelling with light since before she was legal (we used candles and whale oil) and more of her toys glow than vibrate. A true believer in better lighting for better kink, you’ve likely seen her work at Boundless Parties/Retreats and at better theaters around the bay area. She’s here to add color and angles and do her impression of a lighting stand. Her passion is always looking for new artistic and electrical outlets and getting Power to the People.

- Filthy Studios is a multi-use creative space designed for adults.
