Elegant Suffering is pleased to help with introducing Bloom into our community!
Bloom is a community app that connects people around "edge-of-culture" events, and we think it's an empowering place to make meaningful connections. We are excited about the value it will bring to our communities already here in Atlanta and in Athens.
Bloom is already open and thriving in multiple major cities across the country. Now, you're invited to Atlanta's first Bloom gathering. Come be on the ground floor of Bloom's Atlanta launch!
More about the Bloom Community:
Bloom Community is dedicated to creating a safe space for marginalized folks on the internet. Their values of consent, communication, and respect are their core — values that were born out of the communities they are grounded in, including queer, sex-positive, consciousness, community, art, dance, kink, and anything else considered "edge of culture".
A lot of Bloom's growth is through word of mouth, and they like it that way. This builds a safe space where people share the app with their trusted friends, enhancing the vetting of its members in the process. Because of this, Bloom Community is great at resetting expectations for how to engage with strangers centered around your specific community.
How to find us:
We will be in Hotel Indigo which has a great open space for socializing, and also serves food and drinks. If it is warm enough, there will be an outside area.
We will have a small table sign that says "Elegant Suffering and Bloom".

Ticketing
This event has a suggested contribution of $5-15 to compensate the organizer for their time and support Bloom.
We recommend most people to pay $10. Paying $15+ allows us to make the more affordable ticketing available to others who need it.
We offer a sliding scale, so that cost is not a barrier to attendance. If paying would be a barrier for your attendance, we take your word for it! Please still register for a free ticket so we can keep track of who's coming.
