This is an animal / creature-themed kink night, so please make an effort to dress to match the theme! This night's BITE CLUB is Barnyard Battleground! Jump into the rodeo ring to wrestle a bucking bronco at a shot at the title of Grand Champion!

The winner of the most fights will earn the local Grand Champion title of Bite Club (until defeated). Prizes to be announced shortly!

• Bite Club Showdown commences at 10:00 pm
• Padded floor area & chewy toys for your moshing and other Pet Play & wrestling needs.
• The Moo-stress of Ceremonies @The_Lady_V will be announcing fights and pumping you up while you tumble in the ring with our DJ, keeping you moving and grooving through the night.

This isn't farmers only...Bring the pain as a powerful pink piggy, get down as a duck, or chill like a chicken and watch the fights. Farmers, ranchers, and rodeo clowns are all welcome! Stuck on a costume? See the dress code below!

The first rule of BITE CLUB is to wipe your hooves off before you hit the mat. You are not required to fight; this is a great night to perv & watch your friends play. You may always sign up to fight if you change your mind!

BITE CLUB Code of Conduct:

Players MUST sign our waiver to wrestle! Find @The_Lady_V or @JamieLove_PDX to sign up.

• Anyone is allowed to wrestle! Matches must be 1v1. You are allowed to tag out with another player.
• Intensity and specifics of play is always negotiable. Please discuss with your sparring partner(s) beforehand any relevant injuries or physical limitations that they should be aware of.
• NO chokes! NO joint manipulation! NO takedowns/body slams!
• Paws stay closed! no punching, slapping, or kicking. pushing and clawing may be OK.
• Biting/nipping/hair pulling is allowed, but please, no blood!
• Our group safeword is 'STOP' or tapping out, this immediately ends any match.
• We suggest friends remove hanging jewelry/pokey objects before tumbling. If possible, try to keep your fingers/toenails short to prevent injury to yourself and others (mind the acrylics!).
• Lastly, please remember to stay hydrated!

The Venue

While @Stopgap is a new venue in its current iteration, the building itself has a rich history in the kink community. The first floor is fully accessible, with social and play spaces—including hardpoints. Descend into the 3100-square-foot basement to play on equipment that many in the community may have enjoyed in days gone by, plus some newer pieces from our collection. There will be crosses, benches, tables, bondage chairs, cages, and much more!

ADA Accessibility: The first floor is ADA accessible; however, the basement is not. On the first floor, you will be able to see the arena through the mezzanine, looking directly down at the fights. About Lady V

@The_Lady_V (she/her) is a spiritually & socio-culturally driven sex-positive educator, community organizer, Professional Dominatrix & Hucow. Prior, she served as the Program Manager for one of the few agencies in the world specializing in navigating sexuality & gender for people navigating intellectual/developmental disabilities.

Lady V co-hosts EMCEE's BITE CLUB in Portland, Oregon, and is bringing her favorite fetish-themed fight night around the country to San Fran, Detroit, Philadelphia, & more while on her Perverted Pastures workshop tour. She is also a co-creator of the Hucow Pride flag and self-proclaimed "Dairy Queen" & "Moo-ma".

She is an out, proud, & fierce-as-fire transwoman with a passion for empowering others. While hailing from Detroit, Michigan, she has settled in Salem, Oregon, where she serves as the majordomo for her leather family, the Atomic Army.

Play

Enjoy the kink furniture - Stopgap is a fully equipped BDSM club with numerous pieces of equipment to play on. There will be accessible spaces for play. We will also create a quieter non-sexual cuddle area for ace folks, for aftercare, and for those looking to get away from the energy of the play areas.

Connect

As with all AfterDark events, we'll have role stickers at the party to help identify and spark connections. In addition - we will be using our wristband system to help people appropriately initiate social interactions. People who are comfortable being respectfully approached about the possibility of play will be wearing yellow wristbands. If you see someone wearing a red wristband, that indicates that they prefer not to be approached about play but may be open to conversations on other topics. Let them bring up play, don’t bring it up to them.

Dress Code

Costuming is not required but strongly encouraged. Animal-themed clothing/lingerie, wrestling clothes, costumes. animal ears, fur, or all black is strongly encouraged!

Also encouraged are kinky or sexy outfits, lingerie, fetishwear, and general kink/BDSM outfits are encouraged in order to help maintain the immersive ambiance of the night; lingerie or general fetishwear are also welcome, as are dungeon blacks. We encourage you to dress up - make an effort to impress, but if nothing else comes to mind, then dress as you would for a fancy night out.

Please be mindful that you might have to wait in line outside. You are welcome to arrive in regular clothes and then change into your kinky outfit once you get inside! There are free, unmonitored bag racks and lockers for first-come-first-serve use, and there is also a complimentary coat and bag check.

COVID-19 Safety

For everyone’s safety, you are required to show proof at the door that you have had a full first round of vaccines and at least one booster to attend this event. We're also asking that everyone do a rapid test before they arrive.

Put your name/initials & date on the test strip. Take a photo & show it at the door when you arrive. We will have a limited number of tests for sale at $25 each in case anyone is unable to pretest.

Masks are still optional, and we encourage their use.

Timing & Entry

Saturday, May 18th, 2024, 9:00 PM to 1:00 AM. Doors will close at 12:00 PM. Late arrivals will not be allowed entry and not be refunded so please arrive before 12:00 PM or let us know ahead of time if you will be arriving late.

Community & Professional Support

A portion of all ticket sales will go towards enabling access to the event for low-income community members. Financial access tickets may be purchased on the ticket page while they remain available. Your regular ticket fees help cover venue rent, rapid tests, security, catering, performers, and other professional service fees, food, decorations, A/V, purchase and maintenance of play equipment, paying the guest hosts and so much more. AfterDark believes in paying people for their time, knowledge, and experience. We are also putting aside all excess revenue towards Paradox - our new permanent home opening soon.
